The Rete InCampagna is a project that involves agricultural producers, artisans of food processing and conservation in Sicily. Our way of acting is focused on transparency and the key to our common action is: to operate as a group without obscuring the identity of individual projects, but by working together we can have all the benefits of shared management of the offer. Our fresh products are mainly: citrus, tropical fruit and seasonal vegetables. Instead, we define a processed product: honey, extra virgin olive oil, dried fruit, preserves, flavorings and chocolate and many other products from our land. As for fruit, our storage warehouses are trees! Before collecting we wait to receive your orders, we do not put into circulation "goods" that would risk being left unsold and ending up in landfills. We are committed to supporting a circular economy and guaranteeing legality both to our workers and to producers who choose to be part of our Network Our productions are certified BIO, sometimes we offer non-certified products but of whose origin we are sure, every time you receive our offer it will be clearly specified whether the products are BIO or not.Products
CUBOTTO TRIPLO STRATO DI AVOCADO HASS BIO
Composed of 3 overlapping plateaus for a total of 12kg of avocado of the Hass variety. The Hass avocado is a pear-shaped fruit characterized by a rough and rough skin with a dark green color that tends to black as it ripens, the pulp is very creamy, fiber-free with a pale green color and a very intense taste, the fruits in Sicily develop in small dimensions and have a weight ranging from 120g. to 200 g. Thanks to the very thick peel among avocados it is the one that bears the best transport. The ripening and harvesting period is from February to the end of May, we do not recommend keeping the product in the fridge but preferring a cool and dry place, being a climacteric fruit, it is sufficient to combine it with an apple to accelerate its ripening.
CUBOTTO DI MORO - LIMONE - MANDARINO BIO
The Syracusan feminine lemon blooms every 40 days, the fruits are therefore available throughout the year, but the color of the peel changes, citrine yellow in winter, autumn and spring, greenish in summer. Mandarin is a winter citrus fruit similar to orange, but smaller and sweeter. It is of medium size, depressed at the poles and with a peel that is not adherent to the pulp. The pulp is sweet and juicy, divided into 8 - 10 cloves, it may or may not have seeds depending on the variety. The moro is an orange typical of the plain of Lentini and Catania. With an intense red color of the pulp, which when fully ripe comes to seem purplish, this fruit has a medium-small size compared to other citrus varieties, but it is certainly not in the size that its virtues lie. It is in fact a fruit with an exceptional content of vitamins and antioxidants. Also for this reason the moro has a very intense taste and never loses that base of bitterness that distinguishes citrus fruits, in particular the red ones, which combined with the growing sweetness makes it a fruit that does not get boring. The cubotto thus formed costs a little less than composing a customized box with the same components since we make many of them one after the other. For this reason, when ordering a standard mixed cassette, it is not possible to choose the manufacturer, otherwise the work would become complicated and cost more.
