The history of the company, which is specialized in meat products, began in the 1960s, thanks to the intuition of Mauro Glorioso to commence its own entrepreneurial activity in the agricultural food sector with the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and in the 1980s the company is dedicated in breeding, slaughtering and the production of meat products. In the 1990s, to meet the needs of the market, the company began a further phase of development by acquiring an abattoir and concluding collaboration agreements with farmers. This decision allows it to directly control the production chain and to assure its consumers of the widest guarantees of provenance. On the other hand, it provides a high content of services to modern distribution. A truly signicant intuition thanks to which the company thoroughly controls all the production phases of the sector, from breeding to arriving on our tables. An internal Research and Development laboratory, made up of qualied professionals, takes care of everything in detail with passion and devotion, proposing, after a strict selection of raw materials and the study of innovative packaging technologies and for the formulation of new products, the best solutions for each type of product, ensuring freshness and safety. In 2001, with the opening of a new factory, the company tries to make products prepared with meat, in particular rolls, that have been the pioneers in the industry, followed by burgers, sausage, etc. Today the company is headquartered and produces all the products in Nissoria, in the province of Enna, in the heart of Sicily. The rich assortment offered has led consumers to gain more and more condence in the company. The following year, in 2002, the gluten-free line was born and Glorioso became a promoter in the sector and for rst in Italy it began marketing in pharmacies offering people with celiac disease the possibility to consume safe, genuine and quality products. A passion that is constantly renewed for the Glorioso's family that with care and dedication nds every day new ideas to make the company more and more avant-garde and lead it to new horizons and new victories.
