BASIRICO' PIETRO

Description

The Basiricò company is located in the splendid scenery of the plain on the slopes of Mount Erice, where the company oil mill of very modern construction is located, with milling systems with a continuous cycle extraction system made entirely of stainless steel. For two generations, the company has been completely family-run and all production is handled by the owner who, boasting many years of experience in this sector, personally checks the efficiency of the systems and carefully selects the olives. The Basiricò oil mill was founded in 1982 when Vincenzo Basiricò stroking an olive leaf felt the love for this centuries-old and prosperous plant that his family had been dealing with for years. This love soon turned into art, and it was thus that assisted by his wife Maria he gave life to his first oil mill which allowed him to combine his passion with his business. By refining the extraction techniques over time, he has succeeded in producing a very high quality oil, unique for its fragrance and capable at the moment of tasting, to bring to mind and to enclose the peculiar characteristics of this sun-kissed land. Soon he passed on the passion to his son Pietro who plans the future by learning from the past. Pietro, assisted by his young wife Mariella, take care of the production of extra virgin olive oil with love and professionalism, trying to relaunch a modern and dynamic olive growing, in balance with respect for the environment and focused on the enhancement of the territory.
